Robert Ehling is a seasoned international and transactional attorney with decades of experience in diverse matters.  He has worked in law firms in Tokyo, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles in a wide variety of private and public company transactions and operations, and as in-house counsel for privately held enterprises in Los Angeles and Beijing.

Mr. Ehling is experienced in corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance and finance; business operations, including procurement, production, marketing, distribution and logistics; regulatory compliance, including structuring company operations and representing clients before federal, state and local agencies; and intellectual property, including prosecution, protection and licensing.

He also has significant international legal experience, including complex international transactions, business dealings with Japan, China and the European Union, regulation of United States business overseas operations and customs, export controls, FCPA and OFAC compliance, as well as confidential investigations.

Mr. Ehling has significant experience in aviation and aerospace operations and regulatory compliance, including executive aircraft operations and tax-motivated business structures.  He has also worked in other highly regulated industries, including government contracting and consumer packaged goods, such as dietary supplements, cannabis and hemp.
Mr. Ehling is a graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in Philosophy and the University of California Berkeley School of Law.  He lives in Venice Beach with his wife, son and cat, and enjoys movies, music, reading, dining, parties, exercise, sunsets and the ocean.
