Geoffrey Thomas Stover
Geoffrey Stover is an experienced business litigator. He has handled a wide range of cases, including:
- Complex commercial disputes
- Trade secret, trademark and copyright cases
- Real estate litigation
- Administrative law and regulatory matters, including cases before the DOT and FAA
- Consumer class actions
- Taxpayer lawsuits, including special assessments related to business improvement districts
- Employment/whistleblower cases
Mr. Stover started his career at Paul Hastings, where he was an associate until 2011. As a senior associate, he was the attorney chiefly responsible for the day-to-day management of numerous high-profile cases.
Mr. Stover has represented Fortune 100 companies, medium-sized companies, emerging start-up companies and individuals. Recent successes include a $2.9 million arbitration award against a major hospital chain, a defense verdict, plus disgorgement of salary, in a breach of contract and trade secrets dispute, a defense verdict in a breach of contract case and a victory against the City of Los Angeles in a mandamus challenge of a business improvement district.
Mr. Stover has proudly served on the Board of Directors of the Inner City Law Center since 2008. He also currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar.
Mr. Stover graduated from UCLA School of Law in 2000 and graduated with Honors from Wesleyan University in 1995. He is a Los Angeles native and lives in Venice.
