Jeremiah (“Jeremy”) Swett represents clients in many industries and in a wide variety of business and commercial litigation. He has litigated cases in both state and federal courts, in disputes involving breach of contract (including commercial leases, partnership agreements, and purchase and operating agreements), alter ego claims, legal ethics, violations of business and professional codes, and violations of California employment laws. He has also provided counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and internal investigations. 

Mr. Swett’s clients include:

• A large electronics manufacturer against contract performance claims;
• A world famous musical artist against copyright claims;
• A retail client in high-stakes, complex legal ethics dispute; and
• The world’s largest PVC pipe maker in legal ethics dispute concerning decades-long legal representation covering over 400 cases.

Mr. Swett received his J.D. from Cornell Law School and is admitted to practice in California. He received B.A. degrees in Philosophy and History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is a member of the Litigation, Remedies and Barrister Sections of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. 

Mr. Swett is a Los Angeles native and lives in El Segundo, where he is active in various community organizations.
